Wendy Jane

Festival Founder and Director

Wendy Jane is a local musician who plays harp, piano, guitar, flute and sings with the band Outlandish. She conducts local choirs and loves to bring people together. Wendy has been instrumental in forming the local Ringwood Community Assembly Freedom group, which has led to the growth of the Bournemouth Community Assembly, of which she is also on the core team.

Wendy took on the Sounds Beautiful Festival in 2023 after being part of the founding team in its first year and is so excited to see it grow each year. She has been busy running the business side and booking the bands, speakers and DJ's  for you lovely people. Wendy is the first point of call for all the lovely artists needs and if the schedule goes tits up it's her problem!
